The Future of CERES

Staff, Board and management of CERES are preparing proposals for the new governance structure of our research school and interuniversity collaboration in research. CERES wants to modernize in order to meet new requirements that emerge in our research domain and in the changing context of the Dutch university system. The challenges that we want to meet include new thematic and methodological areas, new ways of cooperation (both in the CERES working groups and with external partners and international networks) as well as a new financial and organizational structure. Of particular importance is the creation of a foundation CERES with a new Board that will start in 2010.
