Management

A management team is responsible for the daily management of the working programme. Currently the composition of the managementteam is: Prof. Dr. Linden Vincent (Irrigation and Water Management, WU, Chair), Dr. Lisa Price (Sociology of Consumers and Households, WU, member), Dr. Fred Zaal (AGIDS, UA, member),  Dr. Sarah Southwold (Rural Development Sociology, WU, member); Dr. Conny Almekinders (TAO, WU, member), prof.dr.ir. Han van Dijk (Law and Governance, WU, convenor). The objectives of the management team are: 1. to contribute to the social and intellectual cohesion and development of the working programme; 2. to identify specific training needs of participants of working programme 1 and to facilitate sessions, seminars, publication outlets, etc. that are complementary to those centrally organised; 3. to coordinate, mobilise, develop and employ national and international research contacts and networks (also through inter-working programme cooperation) to the benefit of individual researchers and PhD candidates and to develop research programmes with third parties; 4. review and update thematic seminars that are open to all CERES members.
